Recent evidence confirms that Nigel Kerner may indeed be correct in his postulation about the shape of space. The evidence suggests that space has a twist or 'negative curvature' which can be likened to a saddle shape or the shape of a 'pringle' crisp. This negative curvature provides, if you like, a route map for the drift into chaos from order.
If you have read 'The Song of the Greys' you will be familiar with the exact match between this new evidence and Nigel Kerner's thesis about the shape of space:

"We all know what a tennis ball looks like. There's a very interesting monogram on all tennis balls. I'm sure you know what I mean. That strange twisting shape that seems to present the same profile wherever you look on the ball. Of course, close examination reveals it is not the same profile from all sides. I don't know if the original author of the shape knew this as such, but this shape was expressing the fundamental shape of 'force' existential within all UNIVERSAL effect, thereby providing a means for most of us, at least unconsciously, to register it. Now, imagine this shape made from a three dimensional clear, transparent, square sectioned piece of 'SPACE', yes Space - out there - Space. If you have this shape in mind, you will have this spatial shape surrounded by the 'General' Space of the rest of the ball. (It may be useful to imagine the monogram's shape in translucent plastic to differentiate it from the Space surrounding it.) You will, of course, realise that since it is three dimensional, its cross section will present a view of a 'cross', wherever you cut it. That is, if you cut it and look at it end on, you will see the dimensional axes that define it will be a cross, from any direction. The vital thing I want you to do is to take away the spaces that surround it and look at the shape with its cross sectional 'planes', so to speak, in view (see Figs. 9 & 10 on pages ...). You can now see into the innards of our model twisting monogram shape in space with cross sectional planes set at 90 0 to each other. You will have before you in this mental concept the shape and twisted dynamic that creates the separation of points and makes the metaphysical - the physical. It creatively suggests the enforced atomic Universe we commonly recognise as providing our reality....Please pause for a moment and ponder this gigantic 'engine'. - Our MOBIUS/TOROID referred to previously. Visualise it in your mind, in its context and try to imagine the whole wondrous scenario of CREATION expressed in its terms.
If you have done the exercise, I hope, - you will see that there is no alternative in connected - ordered - sequence, than to arrive at the conclusion that SPACE and all effect in it will be "set" in a pattern that implies what is termed in Science as a Three/Four dimensional MOBIUS strip, or more accurately a MOBIUS TOROID. I shall call this phenomenon henceforth - A 'MOROID'. All that exists in separatedness will have a MOROIDAL central spinal "moment" - 'HOLOLOGICALLY', so to speak, printed in every conceivable aspect of existent effect. A continuum of enforced motional sequence, that has to be followed in a basic two dimensional singularity twisted loop that implies a toroidal effect of three to four dimensional compromise.
It simply means that - we are stuck in 'doing' and 'being' everything in an environment of force that provides effect - in force that follows the shape outlined above. That every atom that makes the physical Universe and the entire Physical Universe itself, has to be set in an inherent 'twist', a logical compromise to allow separation from 'GODHEAD' to be, or exist. Space itself is twisted in this basic shape - and pattern. All happening that is inherently part of that space, happens within and to its dictates. There is no escape from this shape for ANYTHING!!! - Or is there?
The papers that are under discussion (from Astronomy and Astrophysics and Modern Physics Letters A) were reviewed in a recent article in the British journal "New Scientist" in an article entitled: "Why Time Keeps Running Forwards" (15 th October 2005). The writer made the following comments:
"Of course, if the saddle-shaped universe provides us with a mechanism for the increasing cosmic disorder, it still doesn't explain the arrow's ultimate origin: it doesn't explain the first ingredient, why the universe began with low-entropy conditions. "Of course you need mixing," explains University of Chicago physicist Sean Carroll, "but that's the easy part. The hard part is getting the initial entropy to be low. That remains a mystery, perhaps only to be resolved by the 'theory of everything' that physicists are avidly searching for."
Perhaps 'The Song of the Greys' might have within its pages something of the 'theory of everything' referred to in the New Scientist article. It would seem that scientists are mystified by low entropy at the start of the universe, perhaps the following, from 'The Song of the Greys', might resolve this conundrum:
"Let us assume for the moment that there is an ultimate effect measured and related to in terms of a given point, or special placement. As explained previously, Entropy clearly demonstrates that the Universal momentum relative to any such given axial centre, or point, proceeds in a direction of increasing relative randomness - increasing states of chaos when judged one point to another. This singular directional drift, order to chaos, presents a fundamental principle we all just have to face. The established atomic physicality of the Universe proffers a distinct directive of the break up of order, as well as a continual separation of points judged relatively. The Universe is expanding - planets, stars, galaxies are flying apart from each other relative to each other, everywhere. If we view far enough forward, this, plus the increasing states of chaos, would imply a point of ultimate chaotic subversion, with the separation of points, but it would also imply the reverse in the opposite direction. A singularity - a pole of sheer perfection - a resource at which all absolutes centre. A centre where there is no separation of points, where all points exist in perfect union - harmony - balance, so as to be seen only in the aspect of the WHOLE - or what is affirmed conceptually as the ALL TOGETHER - the ALL.
I have suggested that such a centre of complete absence of enforcedness or limit would of itself make nothing actual but would provide the potential for all things to be or not to be. The physical universe then could only have such a starting point. It can only begin from the pole of absolute order as this is where all beginnings have their root."
